📣 2026–2027 Student Transfer Applications Open Monday, June 1

Families who live outside the Cushing Public Schools district and would like their student to attend CPS for the 2026–2027 school year may begin submitting transfer applications starting Monday, June 1.

✅ Who needs to apply for a transfer?
Only students who do not live within the boundaries of the Cushing Public Schools district.

🏠 Recently moved into the Cushing district?
If you moved into the Cushing Public Schools district from another school district, you do not need to complete a transfer application. Simply enroll your student as a new resident family through Infinite Campus.

🔄 Current transfer students
Students who attended CPS on an approved transfer during the 2025–2026 school year will be automatically accepted for the 2026–2027 school year unless the transfer is denied due to attendance or discipline concerns. Families will be notified by July 15 if the district intends to deny a continuing transfer.

📌 Additional reminders:
• New transfer requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Transfer approvals depend on grade-level capacity, attendance, and discipline considerations.
• Families will receive a decision within 30 days of the district receiving the application.
• Once approved, families have 10 days to accept the transfer in writing.
